About Meeting Maker
MTU runs PeopleCube's Meeting Maker calendar product and has purchased enough licenses for all faculty and staff. Meeting Maker allows faculty and staff to schedule meetings and check on time conflicts.
Meeting Maker is a real-time, cross-platform, client/server, collaborative scheduling application. Some of the functions you can do with it are:
- Create meetings and activities with others at MTU
- View the free and busy time of other users individually or by group
- Share your calendar with others, and view other's shared calendars side-by-side with your own
- View your schedule by day, week, or month, or in a simplified text view
- Invite people who do not use Meeting Maker to meetings via email or iCalendar attachment
- Drag-and-drop iCalendar invitations into your own calendar
- Maintain a To Do list
- Synchronize any Palm-based handheld PDA with your calendar
