Meeting Scheduling at MTU
MTU runs PeopleCube's Meeting Maker calendar product and has purchased enough licenses for all faculty and staff. Meeting Maker allows faculty and staff to schedule meetings and check on time conflicts.Meeting Maker is a real-time, cross-platform, client/server, collaborative scheduling application. Some of the functions you can do with it are:
- Create meetings with others at MTU, while viewing the busy time of other users.
- Check and update your schedule when traveling or away from your office by means of a web-based version
of Meeting Maker.
- Share your calendar with others, and view other's shared calendars side-by-side with your own
- View and print your schedule by day, week, or month
If you are an employee at MTU, but are not currently using Meeting Maker, see your department computer support staff to become registered.
News - March 2008 Patch Release
The vendor has released a new patch to correct issues with Native Client on OS X Leopard. See "For Support Staff" at left for this and other downloads.Meeting Maker Run Schedule
Meeting scheduling and web calendar access is available at all times except....Daily backups start at 10:25 p.m. and run for 10 minutes. During this time only offline calendar access to your Meeting Maker calendar at your desk is provided. The calendar server will not be running to provide free/busy times of other calendar users and Web Calendar access is not available.
